It is quite feasable to create a website just to cover this product and service. Keep upto date with whats happening in the world of car graphics by visiting websites from the United States and Germany. These guys seem to have a vast amount of ideas to push your product to an ever increasing market.

This covers a vast amount of graphics such as the following:

Side, rear and bonnet vinyl graphics

These are easy to fit and take up little material. I have found that once people know what you do others will follow. Sun strips are becoming more and more popular especially in summer as a safety feature. All generations of motorists get these fitted and certainly keeps me busy in the summer.

Clients want them in all colours and widths. Sometimes with other logos or text added onto them.

window tinting

Again a great safety feature with this both to protect the people in the car and protect the interior from sun bleaching. Also in the event of attempted breaking of the glass the glass will hold together.

Take care to check the rating of visibilty in your are, the police from time to time pull vehicles over and carry out on the spot checks to check the light rating of the tint on any vehicle.

Normally in the UK you are not allowed to tint the front drivers and passenger side windows and the font windscreen.

Tinting windows is a skill that once practices and mastered can provide a massive income for you. However, you will need a small unit factory or garage where it is warm, dry and you have enough room to move around the vehicle and open and close doors.

In a future DVD I will cover tinting a window. Just follow the procedures on preparation and you won't go far wrong. The major mistake installers make is not keeping the area clean and using plenty of water on both the glass and the tint.

Custom decals

Clients may ask you to copy a design they have made, this is an extra cost to them and extra profit to you. A few years ago I had a call from a guy wanting a tattoo on his body copied and put onto his car. I made several photos and measured his arm to get an idea of scale. The job turned out fantastic and he just kept coming back for more. He then sold his car the following month and wanted all the same tattoos on his new car.

From this initial meeting his friends at the tattoo shop liked the idea and wanted some tribal tattoos on their motorbikes, cars, trucks and even a mobile phone.

So you see just from this one encounter I have made thousands of pounds and met some very interesting characters along the way.

You may get asked to fit graphics onto windows of vehicles, I have shown this on the dvd, very easy and effective to install.

This can be from flames, tribal or lettering and logos onto the dash, gear stick, or panelling in any vehicle.

From the vehicle outlines pack I have mentioned in my previous DVD there are an excellent selection of flames and tribal logos for vehicles. Also the internet is an obvious source of ideas.

In time there will be another DVD with “How to airbrush flames” That will take you through a step by step process of preparing vinyl to be airbrushed.

The beauty of airbrushing onto vinyl is that the vinyl can be removed from the vehicle so does not effect the resell value.

Attend a rally day, or any car racing day and take some business cards with you. Better still design a few leaflets espcially for vehicle and car graphics.

Hand them around to owners of vehicles, the organiser of the event and any trade stands that may be there.

You'll soon discover that your day would be entertaining and profitable for the future.

Pinstripes

Can provide a go faster feel to any car. Personalise any vehicle with the stripes in any colour and size. Choose to finish the stripe at the end of a panel, faded, arrow head or sloping finish.

can I fit vinyl to a freshly painted vehicle?

I recommend leaving the vihicle for 45 days to enable all paint to cure properly. I have put vinyl onto a vehicle and peeled off the application tape which in turn peeled off a layer of paint due to the paint not curing over the right amount of time.

Can I wax my vehicle with the graphics on?

Wait for 48 hours until the adhesive has cured onto the vehicle. You can then wash and wax.

How do I remove the graphics?

They can be easily removed either using hot water straight from the kettle, a hairdryer or a heatgun.

Ensure you do not leave the hairdryer or heatgun in one place at any on tome as the heat will damage the paintwork on the vehicle.

Application of heat softens the vinyl adhesive anabling it to be easily removed.

Any adhesive that has been left on the vehicle can be removed with methylated spirits.

After a few years if the vinyl is removed then this will leave perfect paintwork underneath and faded paintwork on th rest of the vehicle. The best way to avoid this is to wax the vehicle often.

How long will the graphics last?

They will last 5 to 7 years. However if poor quality vinyl is used then within 1 year the vinyl will crack and split.

What arrow rest should I use for Bowfishing?

I got an older compound from my grandpa and the arrow rest that he had on it was broken. It was just a plain adhesive arrow rest. I want to use this bow for bowfishing mainly and im not sure what rest to get. I want to get a whisker bisket but there are no screw holes for a rest. Am I stuck with having to get another adhesive?

Your options are (and you are not limited to this list):

--Get another stick-on rest.
--Have the bow drilled for a bolt-on rest. Don't try this yourself, unless you happen to have the proper equipment and know exactly where to drill the holes.
--Shoot barebow -- without a rest, straight off the arrow shelf.

There really is no law anywhere that says a bow **must** have an arrow rest on it to be usable.
