Why don't my broadheads fit?

I just bought some arrows and some broadheads for my new bow online, but the broadheads do not screw into the end!!! I have no clue what I am doing, do I need another part? Do they come in different sizes? Do I need a special tool? Any help is appreciated...

Unfortunately, before you can trim your arrows to length you need to adjust your bow (I am assuming this is a compound bow) to your draw length. For cutting the shafts, if you have carbon arrows put a wrap of masking tape and then re-draw your line with a fine felt tipped pen, then use a fine tooth (24 tooth) hacksaw with a new blade. put the arrow shaft on a piece of board and cut through the shaft and do not worry about cutting into the board. If you have aluminum ones use a plumbers pipe cutter and just go slowly.
