Victorinox attends to every detail, from selecting the finest materials to performing the final inspection. In addition, each individual tool has been hardened in a different way to stand up to its designated use. Such care is unmatched, and is why the Champ series is recognized by such international experts as the New York Museum of Modern Art and the State Museum of Applied Art in Munich, both of which have selected it for their "excellence in design" collections. Outfitted with a nylon handle and an aluminum housing, the Champion Plus carries a lifetime warranty. The Champion Plus measures just 3-1/2 inches long and contains 30 useful tools. Champion Plus Features: Large blade, small blade Corkscrew, can opener, bottle opener Small screwdriver, large screwdriver Reamer, punch Key ring, tweezers, toothpick Scissors, multi-purpose hook Wood saw, fish scaler Hook disgorger, ruler Nail file, nail cleaner Metal file, metal saw Fine screwdriver, chisel/scraper Phillips screwdriver Magnifying glass, straight pen Pressurized ball point pen Mini screwdriver, sewing eye About Swiss Army Knives In 1884, Swiss cutler Karl Elsener set up shop in Ibach-Schwyz, installing a waterwheel in Tobelbach Brook to run his grinding and polishing machines. Thus began what would become the international brand name Victorinox, a combination of Victoria, for Elsener's mother, and "inox," or stainless steel. Today, Victorinox produces watches, luggage, clothing, and, famously, Swiss Army Knives. The original product dates to 1897, when Elsener patented the Swiss Officer's and Sports Knife he supplied to the Swiss Army. Following World War II, American servicemen and women shopping in PX stores shortened the name to Swiss Army Knife, which lives on in English-speaking countries around the world and has become a metaphor for versatility.

In a Nutshell: A popular, award-winning, and durable wagon that will entertain your children for years. The Radio Flyer's seats flip out, letting kids be comfortable as they ride. View larger. More Info On Belt Large:

Kuiper Belt
I wish I knew more about astronony and liked math, but alas I don't and so I have to rely upon the expertise of those who fancy such vistas. As I was studying some of probable explanations for Planet X or Nibiru, I was intrested in a theory coming from the Kuiper belt and or KBO's of which there are tens of thousands of small objects. Sun spot activity can be scary but what the Kuiper belt may be telling us is no less ominous.
Kuiper belt which also goes by the long handle of Edgeworth-Kuiper belt, is a region of the Solar System beyond the planets extending from the orbit of Neptune (at 30 AU) to approximately 55 AU from the Sun. It is similar to the asteroid belt, although it is far larger; 20 times as wide and 20–200 times as massive. Like the asteroid belt, it consists mainly of small bodies and at least one dwarf planet– Pluto.
Poor Pluto which got kicked down from a planet to dwarf planet.
But while the asteroid belt is composed primarily of rock and metal, the Kuiper belt objects are composed largely of frozen volatiles, such as methane, ammonia and water. Since the first was discovered in 1992, the number of known Kuiper belt objects (KBOs) has been inceasing with out ability to see better, further.
But here comes the fun and interesting part for those conspiracy theorists. While this massive belt rings around our solar system, if you could take a picture from above or below, this circle-like belt would have a space in it which is nearly clear, void, or empty of particales of ice. It appears that something passed through, pushed all the debris away, or sucked the pesky miniature asteroid out of the belt.
A a distance of 350-500AU corresponds with the aphelion of an eliptical orbit of 3,600 years of a heavy object orbiting the sun.ep, you got it- the object called Planet X. Conspiracy theories aside, in 15-25 months we should know for sure.
About the Author
ernie@lrchouston.com
Could there really have been a large planet between Mars &Jupiter in the past: why the asteroid belt is there?
I've heard about the possibility that it was destroyed within the last 10-20,000 years and could even be responcible for Saturn's ring of ice. Plus it caused great destruction on Earth... It could be interpreted that way from many ancient religious texts too..
Like someone else said, there's no way that it was a planet that recently was destroyed, since there isn't nearly enough mass there to make up a planet.
Most astronomers agree that no planet ever formed between Mars and Jupiter, largely because the pull of Jupiter's gravity prevented the material from coming together in the first place. You may want to look up information on the Kirkwood Gaps for info on how Jupiter affects the asteroid belt today.
Saturn's rings are caused by the same thing Jupiter's rings, Uranus's rings, and Neptune's rings are caused by - the rings are material from moons that do/did orbit the planet.
