I have just read about him and his religious views "God hates fags" I think the way him and his family go on, such as picketing soldiers funerals with signs such as "Thanks god for dead soldiers" absolutly disgusting.

Brits were introduced to this charming little family when one of our documentary makers - Louis Thereux did a story on them.

Speaking personally, I was shocked.

I was surprised by the amount of dignity the mourners at one funeral displayed when the family showed up at the church with their signs and chants.

I'm afraid the program reinforced many of the negative feelings Brits sometimes hold about the Americans. I know they're not representative, however the fact they exist, does your image no good at all.
