Something Yummy For Your Mum
The new millennium has heralded in some great new ways of living and when it comes to motherhood, long gone are the frumpy mums of the past, struggling with pushchairs in their jumpsuits and covered in baby sick. Welcome in the era of the yummy mummy! And they're everywhere, with their fresh complexions, newly toned tummies and hair straight out of a salon, coordinated baby or toddler in tow. The hands that rock the cradles of the Noughties are seriously manicured ones.
If your mummy is a yummy one, you'll have every reason to be proud of her. Glamorous and sophisticated, she's the kind of mum who takes care of herself, she knows how important it is to keep her sense of style, and she still manages to put you first. The mum of the Noughties has no fewer responsibilities and still has to juggle work, cleaning, shopping, ironing and bringing up kids in the same way as her ancestors, but she knows how to do it in style. Motherhood doesn't necessarily mean you have to let go and stop looking and feeling fantastic - it's just a bit more of a challenge and yummy mummies know exactly how to do it.
Sweet Treats for Yummy Mother's Day Gifts
Yummy mummies love sweet and yummy treats and when it comes to Mother's Day Gifts, you have a duty to provide her with them! But forget the bog-standard box of chocolates, yummy mummies need something a little different to celebrate their special day, like a Retro sweet hamper, a huge basket full of goodies that will take her back to her childhood! Once again she'll be able to munch on those mojos, lick those love hearts and suck those drumstick lollies that filled her tuck-box when she was a little girl - and this time she's sure to let you share a nibble. If she's more of a chocoholic on the other hand, treat her to a lesson in the craftsmanship of the chocolatier. The chocolate making workshop will introduce your yummy mummy to a wonderland of chocolate and allow her to create her very own delicious cocoa-inspired creations to take home with her. The cute and dinky chocolate clock is another great way to spoon feed chocolate to your mum, as it dispenses little chocolate treats once an hour. It's a great addition for her desk at work, delivering hourly treats to get her through the day! On the other hand you might want to entice her into the kitchen to make yummy treats to share with you. Mrs Manley's Best Biscuits cook book is a cute little collection of yummy easy to follow recipes for biscuits and cookies, perfect for spending fun-packed baking days together.
Experience Days for Exciting Mother's Day Gifts
Of course, you do have to consider that the yummy mummy will want to watch her figure. If she prefers not to pack away too many sweet treats, you might want to look at a fantastic range of pampering experience days instead, which also make fantastic Mother's Day Gifts. Just imagine how much she'd enjoy an exclusive day at a gorgeous health spa, with luxury treatments, access to the gym, sauna and pool and a buffet lunch thrown in. Or, perfect for the yummy mummy, the photographic makeover will give her the ultimate opportunity to shine in front of the camera after the professional hair styling; manicure and makeover have made her look and feel a million dollars. For something a little more unusual, you might want to invite your mum to get tropical on the Balinese indulgence experience. This special day combines a number of traditional health and beauty treatments enjoyed for centuries by Balinese royalty, for a special taste of the orient. And Mother's Day Gifts don't get more unusual than the floatation therapy experience! Get your yummy mummy floating in a replica version of the dead sea. The warm sensations of weightlessness will take her to a level of relaxation she's probably never felt before, and leave her wonderfully refreshed and ready for anything!
Special Mother's Day Gifts for Her to Treasure
Of course, your yummy mummy will always love something that she can treasure forever, and Mother's Day is a great time to get sentimental about how much she means to you. So how about a special book that will let her create a scrapbook of her own life and memories and what it has meant to her to have you in her life. The "From You to Me"' book allows her to do just this, creating a very special and priceless journal that you can even pass on to your own children and on through the generations.

Fred Waldron Phelps Snr and his family- they're digusting!!?
I have just read about him and his religious views "God hates fags" I think the way him and his family go on, such as picketing soldiers funerals with signs such as "Thanks god for dead soldiers" absolutly disgusting.
I'm all for freedom of speech, but this just takes the biscuit, there should be special circumstances for people like him and the rest and that is to rot in jail.
What do americans think of this family??!
Brits were introduced to this charming little family when one of our documentary makers - Louis Thereux did a story on them.
Speaking personally, I was shocked.
I was surprised by the amount of dignity the mourners at one funeral displayed when the family showed up at the church with their signs and chants.
I'm afraid the program reinforced many of the negative feelings Brits sometimes hold about the Americans. I know they're not representative, however the fact they exist, does your image no good at all.
Never get in a car with a stranger
I recently attended a conference where the participants were asked to name the four or five people who had most positively impacted our lives. In other words, we were to identify those few people whose influence in our lives was so positive and indelible that we would remember them forever because they inspired us to be the best we could be.
