How long does a black-bear hamster live?
I have a Black-bear hamster named Lucifer-anne that I recieved about four mounths ago from my Aunt and Uncle. She is hardly ever out.She stays in her hiding place most of the time even late at night she doesn't eat much and when I clean her cage there is always alot of food in her hiding area.I think she is eather sick or is lonely. But,I am afriad to get her another hamster.Any help? Please!
hamsters are solitary creatures so getting her a "buddy" isn't the best idea, theres food in her hiding area because thats what they do in the wild, my black-bear lived for about 2 years, they last usually for 2-3years, i don't think there is anything wrong because hamsters are just usually lazy, she is probably up when you don't see her, like at 3-5 in the morning, or sometimes around 7-9 in the morning, it depends
