Connoisseurs of bad movies rank this execration as an all-time favorite, rivaling Ed Wood's infamous Plan 9 from Outer Space as the worst film of all time. The trouble began in the early 1950s when a film called Madmen of Mandoras was shot and shelved for no mysterious reason at all. The film boasted the great cinematographer, Stanley Cortez (The Magnificent Ambersons), whose gorgeously evocative photography makes a startling contrast to the inexplicable plot with which it seems to coexist. But that wasn't bad enough, so in the early 1960s some UCLA film students shot additional footage, somewhat differently styled (think Mod Squad meets cinéma vérité porno), and intercut it with the original film as if the two were meant for each other. The resultant jumble concerns a pair of modish CID agents on the trail of a kidnapped scientist, Nerve Gas-G, an antidote, the resurgence of the Fourth Reich on the Caribbean island of Mandoras, and Hitler's severed head barking orders from a jar. Here are but a few of the absurdities awaiting you: The swastika is backward, one obtuse character has to pull the car over to discover that her partner was shot even though she was present at the event, and when Hitler's head bites the big one, it melts. Critic J. Hoberman, in his seminal article, Bad Movies, observed that this film fairly makes the brain explode with ideas. Not only that, but aneurysms. You'll be screaming, "Mein Kopf! Baked Turkey Stuffed Tomato Luncheon Recipes
BAKED TURKEY-STUFFED TOMATOES
6 medium tomatoes
1/2 tsp salt, optional
1 cup low-fat milk
1 tbsp flour
1 3/4 cups chopped, cooked turkey breast
1/2 cup chopped celery
1/4 cup chopped green onion
1/4 cup shredded low-fat American cheese
1/4 tsp seasoned salt
1/4 tsp pepper
Cut tops from tomatoes and scoop out pulp. Sprinkle inside of tomato shells with 1/4 tsp salt, if using. Invert tomatoes on paper towels to drain. Meanwhile, in a small saucepan, combine milk and flour stirring to blend. Bring to a boil, reduce heat to low and cook, stirring constantly, until smooth and thickened. Stir in turkey, celery, onion, and cheese. Sprinkle with seasoned salt and pepper. Spoon mixture into the tomatoes shells and place in a 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking pan or dish. Bake at 375 for 15 to 29 minutes or until thoroughly heated.

GARLIC MONKEY BREAD
1 pkg dry yeast
1 cup warm water*
2 cups whole-wheat flour, divided
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 tsp salt
vegetable cooking oil spray
1 tbsp salt-free butter, melted
1 garlic clove, minced
1 tsp dried parsley flakes
1/8 tsp freshly ground black pepper
In a large mixing bowl, dissolve yeast in warm water; let stand 5 minutes. Combine the all-purpose flour, 1/2 cup whole-wheat flour and salt. Add to yeast mixture, stirring well. Gradually stir in remaining flour to make a stiff dough. Turn dough out onto a lightly floured surface, cover and let rest for 10 minutes. Knead dough for about 10 minutes or until smooth and elastic. Spray a bowl with vegetable oil spray and place dough in the bowl, turning to grease the top. Cover and let rise in a warm place, away from drafts, until doubled in bulk--approximately 1 hour.
SUNSHINE CUPS
3/4 cup boiling water
1 small pkg sugar-free orange gelatin
1/2 cup cold orange juice
1/2 cup cold water
1/2 cup fresh raspberries
1 small can mandarin oranges, rinsed and drained
Put dry gelatin into a medium mixing bowl. Stir in boiling water and still at least two minutes until gelatin is completely dissolved. Stir in juice and cold water. Refrigerate approximately 1 1/2 hours until thickened to the point that a spoon drawn through the mixture leaves a definite impression.
Take 3/4 cup of the thickened mixture out and set aside. Stir raspberries and orange segments into the remaining gelatin mixture. Pour into 6 serving dishes or into 1 larger bowl. Beat the reserved gelatin on high speed of electric mixer until fluffy and approximately doubled in volume. Spoon over gelatin. Refrigerate at least 3 hours until firm.

a can of refried beans, a pkg of sliced pepper jack cheese, about 5 flour tortilla shells, half a tupperware container of cooked up taco meat, bottle of taco sauce, success rice, can of black olives, half a pkg of shredded sharp cheddar cheese, lettuce. I would like to use all of this up before having to throw away and could use some ideas
Make soup.
Tear about 3 of the tortilla's into little pieces and boil in some water (since they are flour they will enventually break down and dissolve)Add some garlic and a little chopped onion. Add the beans and meat. Season with a little chili powder, cumin, celery salt, granulated garlic and onion powder, also seasoned salt and pepper. Simmer for a while longer, add the rice and sauce to taste. Continue to heat until the rice is nice and heated.
You could add a can of stewed tomatoes with the meat if you want.
Meanwhile slice the remaining tortilla's and set aside. Also slice/shredd the cheese slices and then mix with a little of the chedder, and chop the olives.
Fry the tortilla's and season with a little seasoned salt and even lime powder if you have it.
Sprinkle the cheese, olives, and fried tortilla's on top of the soup. You could even sprinkle on a little lettuce (shredded) if desired, I have seen it done although it's not really my deal.
You can also toss the shredded chedder in the freezer if you think you won't be using it in the near future. But cheese will keep for quite a while in the fridge. Use it in sandwiches, burgers, add to a green salad, or even pasta salad.

A smoky haze and smell covered downtown Muskogee Thursday afternoon as a blaze destroyed a 1,400-square-foot home at 327 Baltimore St. Black smoke billowed from the attic and throughout the neighborhood as firefighters shot water into the attic.
