has anybody tried the 2 inch blazer vanes and do they fly any different than 4 inch vanes

Every archery shop, or archer for that matter, will tell you what they like best. I tried them, and for the configuration that I shoot, they don't work as good with my broadheads. Worked fine with my Field Tips though.

It all has to do with the complete pack (arrow) that you build...the spine of the arrow, the broadhead, the draw weight, and the fletch...

If you find a shop that will let you experiment, if you can afford to do it yourself and have a good range, take a dozen arrows with the same broadheads and fletch 4 groups of 3 with different fletch...see which you prefer.
