It’s not the blow gun itself that is scary, but what is being blown out of it. Cultures throughout history have used this primitive projectile weapon for killing and paralyzing animals and enemies. Many blow guns where filled with darts dipped in curare poison, which was a concoction of different plans combined to create a dose lethal enough to kill with the simple breaking of the skin and entering the bloodstream. One of the worst things about getting hit by a curare tipped arrow from a blow gun, is that depending on where the arrow pierced your skin, and what location the poison is traveling from, you could be conscious for some time, and god only knows what a native tribe could do to you while you are still cognizant of your surroundings and still able to feel pain.
Sawed-off shotgun
A sawed-off shotgun is a type of shotgun that has been illegally modified with a shorter gun barrel which gives the buckshot a shorter range but a wider spread. What makes the sawed-off shotgun so dangerous is that the buckshot can spread widely and wildly, hitting people or animals it was not intended for, or if aimed close, causing deadly force upon impact. Crossbow
People erroneously believe that the only thing shot out of cross bows are actual arrows. Instead, crossbows where more often used to shoot arrow-like projectiles called bolts, which are much more heavy and much more deadly. Throughout history the crossbow has been used in battles as an introductory salvage to soften up the enemy ranks for ground troops to go in. Crossbows were often used in building and castle defense because of their long range and accuracy. The speed, strength and design of the arrows and bolt projectiles shot from a crossbow made it deadly, if not life threatening, opening up large wounds or piercing vital organs. Next time you start whining about how much it hurts to get hit by a round ball of paint from a paintball gun, just think of a short, sharp metal bolt flying towards your chest at high speed.

What bow should I use in Runescape P2P?
I have 73 range but I dont know if I should use a dark bow or crystal bow or c'bows, and whats arrows/bolts should I use?
Im using it for pvping, I think a dark bow because its spec is like a instant KO I hear, or is that just a overstatement?
Oh and I have around 1.5 mil
For PVP, the dark bow with dragon arrows is a very powerful tool, as you can hit into the 60's uning the special attack, however for general use (and for something far cheaper) the rune crossbow is the way to go. its far more powerful than a bow, but its a little slower (not much thpough).
as far as bolts go, even iron is rather potent on a rune crossbow with a good range bonus, however i use mithril for standard use, ruby tip's (e) for any boss monster combats.
