More Info On Bow Blazer:

Spring is here! It is the perfect time of year to choose a bright and happy design, and your wedding is no exception. Lighten up your wedding with cheerful gingham accents.
Gingham is a simple balanced check design that is usually made of one color combined with white. This unpretentious plaid is often associated with the country, making it ideal for a casual outdoor wedding. Gingham can be found in any color, certainly, with some of the most popular being yellow, lilac, blue, and red. The check is typically woven on the small side, but you will sometimes find gingham done on a bolder scale, especially for tablecloths.
One reason that gingham can be great for a wedding reception is that it is a pattern often paired with food. Think of the classic red checked tablecloths that you find in Italian restaurants or covering the ground at a picnic on a sunny afternoon. Gingham tablecloths can make a nice touch at any informal wedding, and they do not have to be red. Choose linens in your favorite color, or in a shade that will make a nice contrast with your flowers.
You can use gingham linens in combination with your centerpieces to create a wonderful mood. Pale green gingham tablecloths paired with lush pink garden roses and peonies would make any reception site feel like an English country garden. Finish the tables with napkins in a faded floral print for the perfect shabby chic table.
You can use gingham for much more than tablecloths. A pastel gingham check would be a very fresh look for simple bridesmaid dresses. When using a fabric with a strong design, keep the lines of the dresses simple. A strapless or spaghetti strap dress with a knee length A-line skirt would look fantastic. Pearl bridesmaid jewelry would make the perfect finishing touch. You can choose bridesmaid jewelry in the classic all white pearl look, or add in a few crystals in the color of the dresses for a unique detail.
Not too much attention gets paid to the attire for the groom and his attendants at most weddings. If you are including touches of gingham at your informal wedding, though, you can definitely get the guys in on the act. There are many attractive men's shirts available in tiny woven ginghams in great colors like French blue, yellow, or lilac. The subtle pattern looks great with a tie in a fun pattern, a navy blazer, and khaki trousers. If you prefer a more discreet gingham accent for your groom, try a pocket square for the perfect touch of whimsy.
Gingham ribbon is available in many widths, and can be used in lots of cheerful ways throughout a wedding. A wide gingham bow is a great accent on a hand-tied bouquet. Or choose a pretty gingham ribbon to tie around your favor boxes, or even on the vases for your centerpieces. You can also use a short piece of gingham ribbon as a festive napkin ring. Once you get started, you will find that there are infinite possibilities on ways to include this cheerful little check in your wedding.

Scarves
The latest in scarves and shawls dating fashion accessories.
Every year something new seems to hit the runway coupled with a few blasts from the past. It's inevitable that the new looks will be just that-completely new. But fortunately, some of those old looks are favorites and work well with the new colors, styles, and fabrics infused into the old each year. You're surely not going to be bored with the newest (and oldest) fashions this year.
Here are a few of the best no-fail items you must have in your wardrobe:
A cool hat, stylish shawls, or unique hair accessory.
Ponytail tubes from Louis Vuitton are a great choice, too.
Splurge on that pair of heels you have been eyeing
Single shouldered dresses will be a mainstay this year.
For this season, buy a low slung, long strapped bag or a tiny one for your palm. There are some fabulous scrunchy clutches/bags this year too.
Go for the monochrome look, but gold is very popular as well.
Can you master the baggy pants this year? If not, consider the asymmetric styles of skirts that don't belong in the short or long category. However, it seems the mini has faded once again.
There are several pretty ruffled princess dresses, with ribbons and lace. Bows have made a comeback, as well.
When you consider blazers or jackets, all the styles seem popular this year, whether they feature mannish cuts or cropped sleeves. Embellishments of all sorts seem to be allowed almost anywhere... a cashmere or pashmina shawl. You'll find everything from feathers and fringing to ruffles and bows as well.
Colors this year are from two varied ends of the spectrum. You'll find bright neons that almost require a cool pair of sunglasses, to blushed sheers and shades of nude. The nude shades are featured in some of the blousy, cropped trousers that can be found everywhere this year. Every shade of blue and green, often worn all at the same time, is definitely in this season. Crumpled fabrics and cutouts could be located on just about every runway show, as well.
Long skirts, very short shorts, jumpsuits and harem pants were seen virtually everywhere. There was a feel of the East in many of the styles. Metallic leather was also popular on several runways. Leggings are back yet again, but sometimes they almost looked rather baggy. Tight leggings are still in as well, so no matter how they fit you in them you'll want some in your closet.
Jewelry is huge and it's not just in popularity. The earrings and necklaces are very large and some are rather stunning. However, pearls are also popular. There is a very retro type feel to some of the featured lines. The eighties, seventies, and even the twenties have been highlighted by one designer or another.
Your feet certainly won't thank you this year, as heels are higher than ever. Heels are seen with every look from formal to casual. Gold is a must have this season. Many outfits seemed to be built around one flashy gold element. All in all, it's a very exciting year fashion wise. The mood about the economy may be somber but the mood in the fashion world is cheerful and optimistic.

I want to be dita von teese for halloween?!?
First of all, how many people know who this is/would get this costume?
secondly, where would you advise shopping for the outfits...
third, a friend of mine wants me to be the female version of jigsaw (from the saw movies) i.e. blazer, pleated mii skirt, dickie bow, face paint, etc...
-----if you had to choose between these two costumes, what would you recommend?
thanks!
Dita von teese is basically a stripper and no one would know you were actually her unless you told them.... I'd say the second costume. It sounds better and people will know instantly who you are. If you are Dita Von Teese, they will prob just think you are another girl wearing slutty halloween clothes with no idea what they are actually dressed up as.
