More Info On Bow Bow:

From pre-historic man to Robin Hood himself, archery has been a part of man's life for centuries now. Its uses, of course, have gone from survival to warfare and now to being mainly a sport. It continues to challenge all of the shooter's faculties, and his skillfulness can still hold his audiences spellbound! However, shooting a compound bow is a very different ball game from the rest and takes getting used to.
If you're picking up the sport and intend to outfit yourself then a bow and arrows is not all that you need to acquire. You will also probably need to get yourself a compound bow quiver or an arrow quiver. However, if you've started out with a compound bow then even if you have a bow you will need a compound bow quiver. A quiver is basically a vessel or container meant for holding your bow or arrows. They are usually equipped either with a strap or are capable of being placed stably on the ground.
Traditionally made of animal hide, nowadays compound bow quivers are also available in plastic and can be strapped on to your hip, side or back like a backpack. The purpose of these quivers is not just to protect your equipment the best way it can. They are also meant to protect you and the people around you from harm.
Another thing to consider when you're buying compound bow quivers or an arrow quivers is the size. Obviously, if your bow or arrows aren't too large then you don't need a quiver that's too big either. Consider how many arrows a particular quiver can hold and how many you need to carry when going hunting before buying it.
One type of quiver is the back quiver which is extremely helpful to the hunters. The quiver is so built that you can prevent your arrows from getting bounced over and to stay right there on your back. Additionally, these quivers help to store many arrows together. The arrow quiver is designed so as to enable the hunter to keep his arrows handy and find easy access to the arrows whenever he wants to start shooting.
The three important types of compound bow quivers are:
1. Solid mount quiver
The Solid Mount quivers are permanent attachments to the bow and place the arrows in the middle position which helps to balance the bow. These quivers are generally made quiet with materials that prevent the arrows from getting rattled around while the hunter or archer is on the move. Archers and hunters who indulge in stalking their prey in the open areas or fields prefer the compound bow quivers since they make the arrows quickly accessible to the hunter.
2. Detachable bow quivers
These are the favorite arrow quivers of every hunter since it is attached to the bow and helps in the quick release of the arrows. These quivers can be bought either with the noisy attachments or they can be simply attached to the bow. The advantage of this type of arrow quiver is that it helps to draw and shoot the arrows with them being attached to the bow.
3. Hip quivers
These compound bow quivers are meant for the archers or hunters who want to keep their arrows and quivers detached from their bows. This comes in handy because the arrow quivers are actually attached to the belt or to one's thigh and hence does not swing while walking or hunting. However, hip arrow quivers, though preferred by target shooters, is not the ideal choice for hunters as it will make navigating through bushes difficult and is more likely to damage your equipment.

Bryan Habana Gives Wales Warning On Tommy Bowe – Six Nations Rugby
This Saturday's Six Nations Croke Park clash between the Irish and Welsh has been billed in some quarters as a personal showdown between regional team-mates Williams and Bowe.
And, while Great Entertainer Shane has been the catalyst for Wales' best attacking moments in the tournament so far, Habana believes Bowe bows to nobody in his position at the moment.
"I played against Tommy three times last year and there is no doubt whatsoever that he is a fantastic player," said the former world player of the year, who now plays Super 14 rugby for new South African franchise the Cape Stormers.
"He's contributed a lot to Ireland so far, in the last year and a half. He's grown immensely not only as a rugby player, but as a person off the field."
Habana, who was succeeded as the IRB's world player of the year by Williams in 2008, has never been backward in his praise of the former Neath speedster.
He believes he suffered initially from having that title bestowed on him because it ensured he became even more of a marked man.
But, having seen Williams look much more like his old self this time around, he reckons the little man has more tries left in him at the highest level.
"Shane is a fantastic player and people do not really understand what he has given to world rugby, never mind the Welsh game, in the last 10 years or so," he said.
"He has set an amazing standard and some of the tries he has scored are already the stuff of legend.
"It is harder to stay at the top than it is to get there. I found it difficult as player of the year and ended up putting pressure on myself.
"He does not know how much longer he is going to be involved in the game for and wants to do something special."
However, it is Bowe who has caught Habana's eye most in recent months.
He believes the Irishman has benefited from having experience and quality around him in the Irish set-up.
Habana added: "If you are playing alongside the likes of Brian O'Driscoll, Gordon D'Arcy and Geordan Murphy, guys with so much experience, it must have been a big help to him.
"It was like me playing around guys like De Wet Barry and Percy Montgomery when I was a bit younger. So there's definitely great people there around him.
"He's been able to achieve some great things as a wing. And I think as a wing the biggest contribution he can make is to keep on scoring tries.
And Bowe's appetite for work and willingness to go looking for the ball in the mould of the classic modern winger, is one of his key attributes according to Habana.
"You have definitely got to be looking for the ball and, if you don't, you will be left behind. There are going to be a lot of people who are going to gain fast in terms of their ranking, so you must make yourself busy as a player.
