My friend invited me to go bowfishing with him. what do i need to get or change?
I have a martin panther compound bow set at 50lbs
i know i have to get the arrow and reel, is 50lb too powerful for carp? can you link me to a good set up? also any tips?
all you basically need is a cheap walmart closed faced reel and about 40-50 LB. line. as for arrows you can spend like 40$ and get retractable catches or 15$ for some cheap fixed cathches. i dont know where you live so findind arrows might be hard. maybe your buddy can help you find a good store that has the fittings to fit your bow. a little bit of niger rigging might hav to be done to custom fit it to your bow too.
things like this especially bows r usually found at pawn shops
If you can’t beat ‘em, eat ‘em
