String Release

How do you choose the archery release you need from a sea of products from various brands? You have to find the best one that best suits your needs. Here I will list out a few more frequent ones.

Carter Back Strap Releases are good bow hunting equipment that is produced to be shot from pulling. This is due to the resistance activated release which helps with buck fever and target panic. It provides less torque for wrist strap shooters, compared to hand held releases. It also comes with an interchangeable tension system, so the weights can be adjusted as you practice. In the Carter Back Strap Release, the trigger serves as a safety component instead of a firing pin. When drawing, the safety gets strained and then releases at Full Draw.

The Sensation Release has an open hook design which is great for quiet loading to string and cocking. It has a thumb Trigger Release. It also has the interchangeable tension system.

The impressive sounding Mamba Fang Release from Cobra Archery features a stainless steel draw, an adjustable trigger travel, and a forward mounted trigger. This trigger increases power stroke. Stylish and indeed very useful.

EZ Adjust Pro Caliper Jr is a popular released among females and younger hunters. It has a adjustable, shorter module and a loop strap. It has a shorter extension module for smaller hands, thus the popularity, and has a curved trigger. This unique model also has a 360-degree rotating release head to reduce bowstring torque.

Lastly, It is the Stanislawski Eagle Four Finger Smooth Handel from Copper John. Due to its great back tension, setting anchor point is very easy. It is made from aircraft grade aluminum and stainless steel making it a very High Quality product sought after by many hunters. It allows you to move your finger for the shot without losing your reference point.

Hopefully, this reviews has helped you to identify the various releases and make it easier for you to better decide the release you want. If you want to look at more releases and have more knowledge on their usage, [http://www.eaglearchery.com] is a good place to start doing research.

Business/Product Publicity: P.R. Does Not Stand For Press Release

There's no denying that the Internet is allowing more and more entrepreneurs to start their own businesses and effectively market their new products. However, there seems to be an increasingly common misconception when these businesses try to generate media attention and publicity for their products or businesses. Over the past several years, I have had more than a few clients come to me seeking "a PR" to get people interested in their products/businesses. That's right a "PR". Contrary to what some people think, PR is NOT an acronym for "Press Release" - it stands for Public Relations. PR is much more than just a press release and that distinction is very important to understand.

I often cringe when I see articles from well-intentioned "marketing" experts that say, in effect: "simply write a press releases, pitch it to the media and just sit back and reap the benefits." Unfortunately, it is far from being that simple. That statement pre-supposes that the media release/pitch is written well - containing all the right elements and newspegs to catch the media eye - and that it is pitched and maintained in the correct media market, which is often the downfall of many amateur PR campaigns. By all means, a press release is an integral part of a PR campaign. But a press release alone does not a PR campaign make. A successful PR/publicity campaign for your business or product should include many, if not all of the following:

· An interesting, quality, newsworthy product/service that the media (and its audience) will find merit in;

· A concise, articulate media release or story pitch - not a glorified ad - detailing the benefits of your product/business/website and what effect it will have for it's users;

· A supply of media "supportives" - product photos (digital & hard copy), possible review samples, etc.;

· An extensively researched media list detailing all applicable media outlets whose editorial profiles match your product/business profile. Here's an important detail—the targets of your pitch should be "name-specific" not just "title-specific" media contacts. By that I mean the media market research you compile should give you particulars like "Sally Jones-Cooking Editor" not just Tribune Newsroom or Managing Editor;

· A solid, trustworthy media contact vehicle that gets your release/media kit directly into the hands of the appropriate reporter/editor/producer and allows them to respond easily to your pitch. (As always, beware of press release distribution services that often times indiscriminately spew your release to hundreds of untargeted media outlets with little or no results.) Research to find out the preferred method of receipt of your media targets - don't just assume an email will suffice. Whether it's by snail mail, email, fax or phone calls, the media can't run your story if they don't hear about it. For one reason or another, some media may decide not to include your product/business in a placement—but don't let them say the reason is because they weren't made aware of it;

· Meticulous media relations to immediately fulfill media requests (photos/interviews/product samples) and extensive media contact follow-ups over several months to generate as many placements as possible. Many times, media members can't immediately respond to an initial pitch due to tight editorial deadlines and the time it takes to wade through a multitude of similar media pitches. I have found, without question, that the media interest continues to increase as you re-introduce the pitch and gently "rattle the media cage" over the course of the next several weeks/months;

· Some sort of media tracking capabilities—whether it's your own media follow-ups, Internet research, or a professional broadcast/print clipping service. Having "hard copies" of the placements generated by your PR campaign can be invaluable in the further marketing of your business/product. Media placements are a unique validation of the market acceptance for your business/product and can help you convince new customers of that fact.

Think of launching a PR/publicity campaign like flying a kite. The press release (which aptly details your product/business) is the kite. But if your kite doesn't have the proper amount of string, a good tail, a strong wind and the expert manipulation of the kite flier - it has very little chance of getting off the ground. But if all theses elements are in place - a PR/publicity campaign can send your business soaring like a kite on a breezy Spring afternoon.

How do you bend a string on a guitar without getting any string noise?

I'm sort of new to string bending and I have trouble bending without getting any string noise.

Say I'm bending on the 2nd string up a full step, it pushes the 3rd string into the 4th string. Then when I release and the 3rd string comes off the 4th string it always makes a little bit of noise.

I've seen people holding their index fingers over the strings above the one they're bending to mute them, but it seems like you have less control using only 2 fingers.

You can use your other fingers to mute the other strings, thats the easiest way. It just takes tons of practice and you'll get it. But if your fast enough, you could slide your finger up 2 frets or however many depending on how high you want to go up. Bending is easiest though.

Olive skin, dark brown eyes- How do you think I'd look if I dyed my hair black with blond highlights?

Dying my hair a dark brown/black tomorrow, what highlights should I get?

Well I have kinda tan skin, dark brown eyes and naturally dark brown hair. I dyed my hair black with blonde and it looked HORRIBLE! I have just below shoulder lenght hair. Did NOT do that again. Best look is brown hair with red, black and blonde highlights and not alot..sounds way weird but I love the mixture and so does everyone else.

Trail Lost

Hiking is a fairly safe activity especially compared to extreme sports but there are still some dangers that you need to be prepared for. Among them, getting lost is probably the number one problem for beginning hikers. Inexperienced hikers get a false sense of security especially if they have taken a handful of hikes without incident. Don't fall victim to this. Here are some things that will help you not get lost and what to do in case you do get lost.

Getting lost is easier than most hikers think. Stepping off the trail only a few hundred yards into unmarked thick vegetation can easily disorient you. You may think you know how to get back and mistakenly go in the wrong direction which will make it worse. Or you may misread a map and think you're going in one direction but in reality you're going in another.

First off, become familiar with your map and know where you're going and what landmarks you should see along the way. In this way you'll know approximately how long your hike should last and when you should be seeing the landmarks. Also hike with a buddy and if possible, someone who is an experienced hiker. Two heads are better than one so if you start going in the wrong direction you have someone to compare notes with.

Stay on well marked trails until you gain some experience. Make sure you bring some basic navigational equipment; a map and compass is essential. A GPS unit is also beneficial but they don't always work if there's no signal so make sure you have a compass as a backup. Know how to use your navigational equipment before you set off on your hike. Also know the general direction of your starting point; if you get lost you can find your way using your compass or the sun or stars.

While you're hiking make mental notes of landmarks such as outcroppings and streams. If you get lost stay calm and try to retrace your steps by remembering the landmarks you've seen. If you're still having trouble then try to find a stream. Most trails start at the bottom of a hill or mountain so if you follow the downward flow of the stream it should end at the bottom of the hill or mountain. You can also climb a tree or hike to a clearing to get a view of your area that can help you get a sense of direction.

Lastly, make sure you've left your itinerary and when you should be back with a friend or relative. In case you get lost, they will know the area to look for you.

Even without Brandon Roy, the Portland Trail Blazers could be no pushover for Phoenix. No team in the NBA has been better at disrupting the free-flowing offense of the Suns. In three games against the Blazers, two of them won by Portland, the Suns averaged 98 points, a dozen below Phoenix's league-best season average of 110.2. The favored Suns say they are taking nothing for granted as they prepare for Sunday night's Game 1 of their first-round playoff series. After all, Portland was without Roy—and his 21.5 points per game—when the Blazers won in Phoenix 108-101 on Feb. 10.

Roy underwent surgery on Friday to repair a torn meniscus in his right knee. He has been ruled out for this series but might be back if Portland advances to the second round. Suns players tend to dismiss the two losses to Portland as occurring before the team hit its stride. Phoenix won the last matchup 93-87 at home on March 21, part of the Suns' 14-2 run to end the regular season.

Phoenix lost some of that size when 7-foot center Robin Lopez went down with a back injury. He has started light workouts but will not play in the series. The Suns, winners of eight straight at home, rely on a rhythm and tempo that the Blazers will try to disrupt by clogging the middle to stop Amare Stoudemire's powerful inside presence. Probably no one in the league is better at making jump shots than the Suns, particularly from long range. Phoenix was the runaway league leader in 3-point shooting, making 41.2 percent of its attempts.

The player who made the most 3s for Phoenix is Channing Frye with 172. He had made 20 in his first four years in the NBA and spent the past two years on the Portland bench. While talking to reporters, the 6-foot-11 Frye picked up a ball that rolled his way and calmly sank one from about two feet beyond the out of bounds line.

Suess inspired poem about the Oregon Trail or California Gold Rush?

I have a project and im completely lost. I have to creat a DR. SEUSS INSPIRED POEM on either California Gold Rush or the Oregon Trail. Helpp!
Thank youu =]

Gather all of the main facts about either topic. When you
are ready, insert those main ideas into the rhetorical style
of Dr. Seuss's children's books.

This will require you to study one or more Dr. Seuss books
such as "Cat in the Hat" and "Green Eggs and Ham". I believe
his books use many rhyming words. Just tell a simple, fun
story with rhyming words relating the key points of one of the
topics you mentioned.

Make it fun. Good luck!

Lost hiker found during Vermont snow storm
JERICHO, Vt. (AP) — A Vermont hiker has been rescued in Jericho after becoming lost on the Long Trail in the snow storm. State Police say 19-year-old Dylan Sunderland of Burlington started hiking from the Underhill State Park on Monday and planned to camp for two nights at two different camp locations along the trail.

There is a misconception that parachuting and skydiving are not very safe. This is probably because of the "caught on tape" television shows that show sky divers falling out of the sky with no parachute because it didn't deploy. Why those videos exist, is a good question. The good news is that when you go tandem skydiving or you begin skydiving on your own, there are so many safety precautions put in place that it is difficult for any disaster to occur.

Here are the safety precautions that are put in place:

  • When tandem skydiving, you are attached to the instructor with a harness. The instructor is the one wearing the parachute. This enables the instructor to have control and instruct you on how to appropriately deploy the parachute.
  • For tandem sky diving, there is a parachute called a drogue parachute and it is deployed shortly after the jump in order to slow down the fall. This enables better security during the free fall phase so that the instructor can instruct where necessary. This parachute is not necessary on solo jumps and may eventually be removed from tandem sky diving sessions as progress is made.
  • The main parachute is larger because of a tandem dive. It's around 360 square feet or larger. When jumping solo, the parachute is smaller than this.
  • The reserve parachute is always present. This parachute is necessary in case the main parachute does not open. This parachute has been known to save lives in the past, but it is not one that really ever needs to be used.
  • Many sky diving companies are utilizing automatic activation devices, or AADs. These are devices that detect that you are still in free fall mode after a certain altitude with no parachute deployed. This can save lives. Although some events are rare, there is still always the possibility. Perhaps someone is diabetic and they pass out in the air, the AAD can deploy the parachute and save their life. This means if you miss your window to pull your rip cord, the AAD can take care of the task for you.
  • You do have an aerodynamic helmet on your head. Head protection is important in case you have an awkward landing or a little debris may be flying in the air for one reason or another. The landing is usually quite soft, but you never know when you may trip over a rock or your own feet. You also never know when a bird may be a little wild and decide to come your direction.

Over the years, skydiving has become safer and safer. There is always new technology being made available to ensure the safety of each dive. This is, perhaps, why so few people are being met with injuries and why even fewer are being met with death. This is good news for the sky diving world. This has resulted in more people enjoying the thrill that this activity has to offer.

Stewart Watson is a lover of skydiving and adventure sports. He is also an experienced writer and enjoys sharing information and tips on skydiving with other like-minded people. Woo-woo Woes - Do your Thoughts Serve you Well?

By Carl “J.C.” Pantejo, Copyright 2007

Woo-Woo Person: “I’ve been doing all the visualizations, affirmations, and negativity purging; but nothing is happening. I’m still broke!”

Prosperity Mentor: “Does your thinking lead to any ACTION?”

Woo-Woo Person: “Well…not much, yet. But isn’t the time and energy I spent on the other stuff enough?”

Prosperity Mentor: “If your thinking doesn’t lead to action, how can you be prepared to jump on opportunities that lead you to your dream life?

What can you give now to the person capable of giving you what you desire? Remember, that person will expect something in return. And that something must be of equal or greater value.

Do you have it?”

Woo-Woo Person: “Hmm…?”

The Woo-Woo Person is at one end of the “Think – Do Spectrum”. The other extreme is the No-Think, Purely Practical Person (but that’s a discussion for another article.)

The Woo-Woo Person believes that thought is all that’s needed to manifest his desires. But when Woo-Woo People aren’t manifesting their desires, the big question is this: Are they really thinking in the Certain Way? That is, are they thinking in a way that serves them best; a way that ensures prosperity, a way that is congruent with their whole being? And most importantly, does their thinking lead to ACTION?

If not, life becomes a futile cycle of “one step forward, then two steps back.”

- FUEL FOR THE MAGICAL MANIFESTATION MACHINE -

In the grand scheme of things, ALL thoughts, beliefs, and speech contribute to the magical manifestation machine called the Universe. Thought is the fuel that the machine needs to create individual realities. Every positive AND negative thought is registered and acted upon. The Universe doesn’t filter out so-called “good or bad” things. IT let’s you decide. This is called free-will. It is a powerful gift; a gift that most people throw away by choosing to think by default (also called ‘the lemming mentality”); instead of by design (conscious creation through controlled thought).

When negative thoughts are allowed to enter the mind through the front door (meaning: conscious, self-defeating self-talk); or through the back door (i.e., subconscious thought resulting from past training, conditioning, and experiences), even the best laid plans are doomed from the start.

Most of the time, positive and negative thoughts cancel each other out, leading to a “push-me, pull-you” situation resulting in no progress made at all. If you continue doing this, you expend tremendous amounts of precious time and life energy; only to end up where? Back to (or behind) square one!

- THE “MENTAL AVOIDER” LETS HIS GUARD DOWN -

It takes a constant “Security Thought Patrol,” stationed on the perimeter of the mind, to repel negative thoughts. The Patrol should only allow positive thoughts to enter. Your Patrol should challenge all questionable immigrants into your mind with the proverbial “Halt! Who goes there?”

Controlling your own thoughts is no small task. In fact, many people will engage in anything to keep from having to think about their thoughts. For them, any distraction (activity or person) will suffice.

Life becomes an endless parade of half-hearted attempts at success and/or multiple shallow relationships. Looking outside themselves, seeking the next tension-relieving activity, temporarily keeps them from really thinking about themselves. And even worse, it prevents them from spending their time on activities that bring them closer to achieving their ultimate life goals.

- THE VICTIM: “OH, WOE IS ME…” -

Unfortunately, even in this modern age of self-discovery and self-improvement, the victim mentality is still alive and well. The fact is that playing the victim role is too tempting and too easy for most to resist.

In the victim mentality game, all participants are conveniently absolved from any real, personal responsibility. Victims will blame everything and everybody else for their own personal plights.

The years pass. And a string of awful jobs, business failures, and broken relationships only bolster their deep depression, anger, and hopelessness.

Unless these people take full responsibility for their own lives, they will continually spin their wheels, go nowhere, and struggle against all their imagined oppressors. They don’t see that THEY ARE THE CAUSE.

Both the “mental avoider” and the “victim” are attempting something impossible. They are trying to hide from themselves. Resembling ostriches, they figuratively stick their heads in the ground and semi-hope for the best. They have mentally given up. Passion is non-existent and life is endured, not lived.

These people are truly insane; meaning: they believe things will change on their own accord WITHOUT changing their current ways of thinking and doing. Sadly, they will continue waiting for something that will never come.

It really can be different. It just takes proper planting and care. James

Allen, in his classic book “As A Man Thinketh,” tells us that the mind is like a garden. Neglect allows weeds to grow. Seeds for flowers must be planted and constant care is needed to produce a beautiful garden (and mind).

Negative thoughts, like weeds, easily spring up when nothing else is planted.

- DON’T TRY TO ERASE IT. REPLACE IT! -

Individual conditioning (past and present) plants an overabundance of repeating, negative thought. This is why so many people seem to never move forward in life.

But it’s not possible to NOT think about something! This is how Dostoyevsky used to terrorize his brother by telling him NOT to think about a “big, ferocious, white Polar Bear with sharp teeth and killer claws.”

Suggesting NOT to think about something brings about its exact image! The best way to get rid of a repetitive, negative thought is to REPLACE IT.

When I was a young man in the military, I remember the first time I was ordered to perform my first free-fall parachute evolution (mission). Even though my static line (automatic parachute deployment using an “umbilical cord” attached to the airplane) jumps were somewhat easy and fun; the thought of free-falling from a much higher altitude AND having to judge when to pull my ripcord was, to say the least, unsettling.

My Jump Master (a salty Master Sergeant) successfully used the REPLACEMENT method to cure any reticence about free-fall jumping. He would shout, “Son, Fear and Desire can not live in the same mind! Repeat after me: I WANT OUT OF THIS AIRPLANE NOW! I NEED TO JUMP NOW! …I can’t hear you! Say it again: I WANT OUT OF THIS AIRPLANE NOW! I NEED TO JUMP NOW! Go! Go! Go!

Needless to say, it worked. I exited the aircraft and immediately began flying through the air like Superman. And as the delight of free-falling filled my whole body and soul, I screamed THANK-YOOOOOO to that Big Master Sergeant above!

- DIGITAL MEDIA AND YOUR MIND -

Here’s another way of explaining the REPLACEMENT method (and why you should use it).

Think of your mind like any other form of digital storage media (i.e., internal and external hard drives, USB memory sticks, I-Pods, .mp3 players, etc.). When you believe that you’re “erasing” something on it, you really aren’t.

Any techie (or savvy computer person) will tell you that “deleting or erasing” something merely means that you “gave permission for further information to overwrite whatever is in that particular space.” In other words, until you overwrite the information, it’s still there! How do you think information recovery systems work? They all operate on the fact that initial “deletions” are merely “gate openings,” allowing information to be overwritten. Your mind operates the same way. Until you “overwrite” certain thoughts, they will always remain.

Choose your replacement thoughts carefully. The more different the replacement thought is, the better. In fact, if you can think of its opposite, use it! Replace fear with desire; replace hopelessness with certainty; and most of all replace hate with love.

- YOUR THOUGHTS: SERVICE OR SABOTAGE? -

All Law of Attraction and Science of Getting Rich gurus agree on one thing: Your thoughts can definitely serve you or sabotage you. Do your thoughts make you feel good? If they don’t, why continue to think them? Do your thoughts overtly or covertly sabotage you? Not sure? Just look at the results of your present thinking and doing. If your present results are not what you desire, why keep their underlying causes (the thoughts that created them in the first place) alive?

Many people (myself included) believe that all suffering can be traced to an error in thought. This is simply because we as powerfully thinking individuals have the ability to assign our own connotations of “good or bad” to anything in life.

If any thought makes you feel bad or uncomfortable; either replace it, or find the seed of goodness in it.

I like to combine the slogans of Naploeon Hill (the author of the classic book “Think and Grow Rich”) and Russell Conwell (founder of Temple University and acclaimed “Acres of Diamonds” lecturer) into one phrase: “In every seemingly bad situation or apparent failure is the seed for its solution. And it is this magic seed that will produce your own acres of diamonds.” There is ALWAYS something good. You just have to find it.

Think. Think hard!

After you realize that the above is true, it’s almost ridiculous to continue thinking thoughts that do not serve you. Only a masochist would purposely subject themselves to this kind of perpetual mental torture.

Why continue to think thoughts that make you feel bad? Do your feel like they are the only things that make you unique? If so, you must realize that such a belief is a form of mental, emotional, and spiritual suicide.

It is pure and utter nonsense to believe that your uniqueness is solely because of your negative thoughts. You are special because you are special. ‘nuff said. No one else is now, or will ever be, you. Accept this powerful thought. No one - and I mean no one - has the same abilities and desires that you have.

Do you think your thoughts were meant to bring you unhappiness? Do you think that some deviant, ironic, universal force planted them into your mind for the perverse pleasure of seeing your mental turmoil? OF COURSE NOT!

Your thoughts, especially thoughts about what you desire in life, are the clues to your ultimate happiness. They are the little hints that can produce life-changing results. They are whispers in the wind, co-created by you and the Universe.

I like to think of them (thoughts that serve us well) as the bread crumbs carefully placed in our life path, leading us to our own personal utopia.

Rest assured that if you weren’t capable of achieving your desires, you wouldn’t have the thoughts about them in the first place. In other words, every thought of a desire is backed by the power and possibility of achieving it.

Now, back to the main topic of having your thoughts serve you…

I’ve spent most of my life living by simple checklists. It’s not silly to use them. Airplane pilots, astronauts, and almost all successful people employ them. In fact, during my military career, following those little checklists saved my life many times.

So, here’s a checklist for you – the “Service Thought vs. Sabotage Thought” – personal checklist. It will help you decide whether a certain thought serves you or sabotages you.

By no means is this checklist “all inclusive.” Use it as the point of departure in making your own “Service Thought vs. Sabotage Thought” personal checklist. In all instances, if the answer is “no,” replace it or refine it (find the good in it).

1. Does the thought make me feel good?

2. Does the thought inspire me?

3. Does the thought energize me?

4. Does the thought motivate me to ACT?

5. Is the resultant ACTION an effective action (i.e., action that brings me closer to my life goals)?

Remember, thoughts that serve you are always positive. They lead you to the good things in life. They are exciting. They are related to your individual desires and personal passions. They point the way to creativity, not competition. They sharpen you, instead of dull you. In short, they heal, instead of hurt.

And last, but not least, THEY LEAD TO ACTION.

How do your thoughts serve you, my friend?

He is a retired U.S. Military veteran. Believing that school was too boring, he dropped out of High School early; only to earn an A.A., B.S., and MBA in less then 4 years much later in life – while working full-time as a Navy/Marine Corps Medic. In spite of a fear of heights and deep water, he free-fall parachuted out of airplanes and performed diving ops in very deep, open ocean water. He went to Thailand 1 year ago for a week’s vacation, fell into a teaching job, and has never left!

Physics Questions 2.80?

If there were no air resistance, how long would it take a free-falling parachutist to fall from a plane at 3000 m to an altitude of 500 m, where she will pull her ripcord?

What would her speed be at 500 m? (In reality, the air resistance will restrict her speed to perhaps 150 (km/ h)

vi = 0

Using hf = hi + vi*t - 1/2*g*t^2
t = sqrt(-2*(500-3000)/g)
t = 22.6 s

Using vf^2 = vi^2 + 2*a*d

a = -g

vf = sqrt(-2*g*(500-3000)) = 221 m/s

Heroine flies in to pull skydiver's ripcord

Choosing the right bathtub liner or acrylic tub can be difficult. You may be asking yourself, "can I, or should I, go over the exiting tub?" Are there choices available to improve the function, safety, and style of the existing unit? Can I get rid of old out of date colors without a major mess and time investment?

Learn 5 practical steps to assist you in making the right bathtub selection:

Step 1 - Identify your existing tub - The type of tub unit you have today will be a major driver in your replacement options. If you have a cast iron or steel bathtub you can use a liner to go over an existing unit that might be stained, chipped, cracked - or just plain ugly. If you're wondering how to determine if the tub is cast iron or steel listening to the sound while tapping on the tub can help you determine what's in your bathroom now.

If you have a fiberglass or plastic tub it's not possible to go over what's there with a liner. In these situations the old tub must be removed and it can be replaced with an new acrylic tub. These installations will take more installation time than a liner project.

Step 2 - Think through your needs for safety and improved function- The remodeling process should be the time to think and reflect on how you want to make the space work better. Would you like the tub area to be safer? Do you need to convert the tub into a shower or would reducing the height you have to step over the tub help? Would a deeper soaking tub add provide a more relaxing bathing experience?

For increased safety and comfort consider some of the following ideas:

• Use a liner or tub with a non-skid surface at the bottom.

• Add a safety grab bar on a side wall and back bathtub wall surround.

• Use a Kohler Archer style deep soaking tub.

• Consider a tub cut out to retrofit the existing tub for ease of entry.

Step 3 - Determine how quickly you'd like your bathtub project completed - The biggest advantage of bathtub liners is they can generally be installed in one day (complete with a new drain and overflow cover) since they are installed over the old unit. If you have only one full bathroom a liner may be the preferable way to go (assuming you have the right type of tub material - see Step 1).

If you need to remove your existing tub the installation will be more involved since you'll not only need to remove the tub but also there will be work needed with the wall surrounds (since the tub is installed behind the surround in most cases) and the floor (tiles or floor material may be underneath the tub and may break when the tub is removed).

A knowledgeable contractor will also want to look at your soap dish to see if it's recessed into the wall or extends out from the wall surround. If the dish extends out it can complicate the tub installation process.

Step 4 -Choose your colors wisely- If you're looking to move in the near future you'll want to choose neutral colors for your tub. Included below are various color selections you can use to replace outdated colors.

Acrylic bathtub liners- Colors include white, almond, biscuit, pearl, gray, white granite, gray granite and beige granite.

Kohler replacement acrylic tubs - Colors include white, cashmere, sandbar, skylight, biscuit, almond, ice gray, thunder gray, Mexican sand and innocent blush.

Step 5 - Add bathroom accessories to improve function, looks and style - When you're in the process or replacing a tub is the best time to get rid of an old stained or rusted overflow cover/drain and update it with a new chrome, brass, oil rubbed bronze, or white units.

Also consider adding safety features like a grab bar or tub seat. If you have a window in the bathroom and you're looking to increase privacy consider a glass block bathroom replacement window. Other nice additions include new soap dishes or bath tub corner caddies.

Know you're equipped with these 5 steps you're ready to select the acrylic tub or bathtub liner for your project.

Ohio Valley Wrestling and Raw (20042006)

Nemeth signed a contract with World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) in 2004. He was assigned to their developmental territory Ohio Valley Wrestling (OVW), debuting as "Nick Nemeth". He feuded with Paul Burchill and challenged unsuccessfully for the OVW Television Championship, losing a championship match against then-champion Ken Doane on August 12, 2005.

Nemeth was called up to the Raw roster shortly afterwards, making his television debut on the September 19, 2005 episode of Sunday Night Heat. He was made the enforcer and sidekick for Chavo Guerrero, Jr., who was using a golfer in-ring persona and going by the ring name of "Kerwin White". As such, Nemeth became White's caddy. His wrestling debut came on an episode of Sunday Night Heat, teaming up with White in a tag team match against Shelton Benjamin and Matt Striker. After the death of Eddie Guerrero, Chavo Guerrero dropped the "Kerwin White" character, and Nemeth no longer played the role of his caddy and tag partner. After a few months of wrestling in dark matches and at house shows, he was sent back to OVW.

The Spirit Squad (2006)

Main article: Spirit Squad

Nemeth became a part of the Spirit Squad faction, a group of five wrestlers who used the in-ring personas of male cheerleaders, and adopted the name Nicky in OVW during late 2005. On January 23, 2006, they had their WWE television debut as a group, appearing on Raw and helping Jonathan Coachman win a Royal Rumble qualifying match against Jerry "The King" Lawler by performing cheers for Coachman and distracting Lawler. They later became a part of the on-going scripted feud between WWE chairman Vince McMahon and Shawn Michaels. The heel (villainous) McMahon brought in the Squad to attack Michaels on numerous occasions, including placing them in multiple handicap matches.

They also wrestled in the tag team division, and on April 3, on Raw, won the World Tag Team Championship when Kenny and Mikey, with outside help from the other three Squad members, defeated Kane and The Big Show. After winning the championship, all five members of the Spirit Squad were recognized as the champions, allowing any combination of them to defend the championship.

In May, McMahon signed another Handicap match, with the Spirit Squad facing Michaels. The match never started, however; instead the Spirit Squad attacked Michaels, and, as part of the storyline, shattered his knee with a steel chair. McMahon brought Triple H to the ring to attack Michaels with a sledgehammer; however, after Triple H felt that the Squad his disrespected him, he attacked the group. This led to Triple H and Michaels reforming D-Generation X (DX) and they began a feud with the Spirit Squad. DX played various sophomoric jokes on the Squad and the McMahons, as well as defeating the Spirit Squad in handicap tag team matches at Vengeance and a clean sweep in an elimination handicap match at Saturday Night's Main Event.

At the same time as their feud with DX and their alignment with McMahon, the Squad also wrestled other teams in Raw's tag division over their World Tag Team Championship, successfully defending the championship against the teams of Jim Duggan and Eugene, Charlie Haas and Viscera, and Snitsky and Val Venis. They then entered a lengthy feud with The Highlanders, whom they eventually defeated to retain the championship at the Unforgiven pay-per-view in September. The Squad as a whole later began a losing streak with separate members losing singles matches to Ric Flair on consecutive episodes of Raw, until Kenny managed to defeat him on the October 23 episode. It was then announced that Flair and a WWE legend, selected by interactive voting, would wrestle the team for the World Tag Team Championship at the Cyber Sunday pay-per-view in early November. The fans chose Roddy Piper, and he and Flair defeated Kenny and Mikey to win the championship.

The group disbanded on the November 27 episode of Raw, when they were defeated in a five-on-three handicap match by DX and Flair. In a backstage segment later that night, DX placed all members into a crate stamped "OVW, Louisville, Kentucky", a reference to the developmental territory from which the Squad had come.

Return to developmental (20072008)

Nemeth returned to OVW on January 17, 2007, at the television tapings, again using his Nick Nemeth ring name, along with Mike Mondo, formerly Mikey in the Spirit Squad, as the "Frat Pack". The pair teamed with Mike Kruel in a match against Seth Skyfire, Shawn Spears, and Cody Runnels. The team disbanded in the early parts of 2007. Nemeth then competed in several dark matches before the OVW television tapings, competing against wrestler including Chris Cage, Bradley Jay and Jake Hager, before he began teaming with Mondo again in August.

At the end of August, Nemeth and Mike Mondo were moved to the Florida Championship Wrestling (FCW) developmental territory and in his debut there, Nemeth gained the nickname "The Natural" and defeated Hade Vansen. In November 2007, Nemeth gained Big Rob as his manager, but their alliance was short-lived. At the start of 2008, he tweaked his name to "Nic Nemeth" and began teaming with Brad Allen, with the pair gaining Taryn Terrell as their valet. Nemeth and Allen started a frat boy type ring character with Terrell as a "sorority chick". On March 22, Nemeth and Allen won the FCW Florida Tag Team Championship by defeating defending champions Eddie Coln and Eric Prez, but lost the championship back to Coln and Prez on April 15. Throughout April and May 2008, Nemeth wrestled in several dark matches prior to Raw, losing to Kofi Kingston and Ron Killings on several occasions. Soon after, he returned to the name "Nic Nemeth", and began teaming with Gavin Spears. The pair defeated Coln and Prez to win the FCW Florida Tag Team Championship on August 16, but lost it to Heath Miller and Joe Hennig less than a month later.

Dolph Ziggler (2008resent)

On September 15, 2008, Nemeth re-debuted on Raw, introducing himself in a backstage segment under the name "Dolph Ziggler" and with a new image. On October 10, 2008, Nemeth was suspended for 30 days for his first violation of WWE's Wellness Program policy.

Ziggler in September 2009

He returned to Raw on November 17 in a backstage segment with Rey Mysterio and Shawn Michaels. In his first match on Raw under the Ziggler name, he lost to Batista on the December 1 episode. The following week he got his first victory as Ziggler, by countout, against R-Truth. The next week on Raw, he picked up his first televised pinfall victory, when he defeated Charlie Haas.

On April 15, 2009, Ziggler was drafted to the SmackDown brand as part of the 2009 Supplemental Draft. He made his debut on the April 17 episode of SmackDown, defeating the United States Champion, Montel Vontavious Porter (MVP) in a non-title match, and, as a result, the following week he demanded a match for the championship. On the May 1 episode of SmackDown, however, he failed to win the championship, after he was pinned by MVP. Ziggler then started a rivalry with The Great Khali, losing to him by disqualification after attacking Khali with a steel chair. As a result, Khali began coming out to the ring during and after Ziggler's matches, in attempt to gain revenge and to stop Ziggler from cheating. Over the next few weeks, Ziggler defeated Khali by countout and disqualification after making it look like Khali had struck him with a steel chair. At The Bash pay-per-view, Ziggler defeated Khali by pinfall, after Kane interfered and attacked Khali.

Ziggler then entered an on-screen relationship with WWE Diva Maria and she became his valet. He simultaneously started a scripted rivalry with Intercontinental Champion Rey Mysterio, who defeated Ziggler at the Night of Champions and SummerSlam pay-per-views to retain the championship. In September, Mysterio lost the Intercontinental Championship to John Morrison, and Ziggler entered a feud with Morrison, losing to him at the Hell in a Cell pay-per-view. On the episode of SmackDown, following Hell in a Cell, Ziggler ended his on-screen relationship with Maria after she cost him a match against Morrison.

Personal life

Nemeth has been a fan of professional wrestling since he was five, and decided to become a professional wrestler at age twelve. Nemeth is good friends with his former Spirit Squad teammates, particularly Michael Brendli, with whom he lived in Florida until 2008.

Nemeth appeared on the November 3, 2009 episode of Deal or No Deal with Maria and Eve Torres.
