What's a good Ultra-Flat paint to camo my 4x4 truck?
The problem I'm having is that an ultra-flat paint that's made for autobody in the exact colors I need is almost impossible to find and very expensive. To complete my camo job I will need 4 to 6 colors. That will also add to the cost.
I need a low cost solution that's going to withstand a little bit of a beating from brush, rocks, water, and the Florida sun on an all metal truck body.
My truck is already prepped with Rustolium auto primer over spots of glazing compound and the original paint job. Before it was primed, any rust was completly removed, the old paint was sanded/scuffed, and the whole body was wiped down with M.E.K (methyl ethyl ketone). I have added many coats of primer in the past few months as well.
Please remember when answering, I need a flat to ultra-flat paint only. Low cost is perfered.

if you do this by the can it,s going to be expensive ,,by the time you get it all done,,have you try-ed sherwin williams,,they have a low cost auto paint,,and can mix it in any color you want,,and it last,,i have used it before,,and it will stay on there,all you need is an old cheap paint gun,,a little tape,,and some old new,s papers,,and your on your way,,this is about the cheapest way out on something like this,,good luck i hope this help,s you.
