diamond xtreme sound CD GOT A VIRUS QUESTION?

I bought this diamond xtreme sound 5.1 sound card
( NEW ) from office Depot. installed it ran good. Now after installing trial version of Norton AV my icon is gone from the running programs. all speakers work except center and when I put disk in and do a scan Norton says I have a Trojan so i scanned each folder and found it on DATA folder on disk. But when I go to program files, xtreme is there, but DATA folder is'nt. Can anyone explain what happened and can a trojan attach to a installation cd

Norton is recognizing a file that works like trojan and marked it as a threat when it really isn't a threat.

To fix this try-
1.undeleteing it from the quarantine
2. exclude it from norton's scan, blocklist, and/or firewall

This should work.

If not, uninstall norton and buy some other anitvirus software other than norton because norton sucks.
