Mission Archery - Eliminator Review
If there is such a thing as the best bow for a person’s money, then the Mission Archery Eliminator would be a top contender for the title. At just under $500, the Eliminator is a value priced bow packed full of high end features.Â
At first glance the archer sees the parallel limbs and thinks quiet, shock free shooting. The perimeter weighted cam is perfectly balanced to further smooth out the shot. The cam working along with the limbs can propel an arrow toward the target at an impressive 319 FPS IBO. Each Eliminator also comes with string cushions and the all new D-amplifier system. This whisper quiet bow was also designed with the bow hunter in mind. It is just 30.25 ATA and weighs in at just over 4 pounds making it compact and a dream to carry on any hunt. The Eliminator was also designed to be versatile enough to fit archers of almost any size. Its draw length can be adjusted from 24 to 30 inches and peak draw weights of 40 all the way to 70 are available.
Mission archery also produces top notch accessories that are designed to match this bow perfectly and has several pre- assembled packages available. They feature a sight, rest, quiver, stabilizer, and a wrist sling. Prices of these packages range anywhere from $90 up to $250 and the technology of the accessories increase along with the price.
Whether you are a beginning archer or a seasoned veteran, the Mission Eliminator is a bow that delivers performance even the most demanding archer would be proud of.Â

Recurve bow questions..thinking of getting a bow!?
I have been doing archery for a while..and I have been using the bows provided by the club I shoot at. I am shooting 18M and am 14 years old
I am thinking of saving money to buy myself archery equipment first *quiver, guards, etc;* then getting up to the big bow itself.
What bow brands have you had experience with and what brands do you think are best?
I shoot with recurve and do not plan on hunting at all.
I do not have a lot of money but I can work my way up to it
*also when getting a quiver online would you choose right hand if you want the quiver on your right hand side? or if you shoot with your right hand??*
*im a righty* thanks!
I've shot Hoyt, Win&Win and Samick. But here's the thing, any bow out there today is made so well that even olympic champions can shoot it and do just as well as they would with the top of the line equipment.
Depending on your size, Hoyt for 2009 had just introduced a new bow called the Excel. Great looking bow for the price ($150), downside is it's only available in 21" or 23" sizes. So, only good for archers with draw length under 26". For longer draws, the only beginner model from Hoyt is the Eclipse, but that one costs about $240.
Both Win & Win and Samick has a wider selection of beginner level equipment.
On the other hand, if you're not looking for ILF bows, then something like the Bullseye from Internature might be the way to go. It's a wooden take down recurve that you most likely have seen at the club. It has many other similar clones, like the Mohegan Great Tree, or KAP Surprise, etc. They're all around $100 for the whole bow. Quality seems to be about the same. We have the Bullseye, Buckeye, and Surprise at the range.
As for the quiver, that is correct, right handed quiver for one that goes on the right side. Good luck.
