Doodling is a worm fishing technique that one can easily master. Also, when you are engaging in this activity, it is important that you take the stealth approach and avoid making noise. When you make noise, you may chase the fish off because of your vibrations.

Many individuals wonder when they should fish. To start with, during the spring/early morning, the fish are not biting. This is because the fish is cold and will not heat up because the sun is low, so the rays bounce off of the water. Don't go home just yet, because the fish will be hungry and spawning soon.

Wait a couple of weeks after thaw as spring turns over to warm temperatures. During the spring/late morning-early afternoon, the fish will be biting a little as the water starts to warm up. During spring/Early evening, the fish will be eating a lot because their metabolism is cranked. The water, during this time, is warm because the sun is directly overhead.

Once the lakes are warm, you will start to get some pretty good catches. Fishing is a great hobby and is fun to do with a loved one. Getting out and enjoying Mother Nature is what it is all about.
