set timing with the wire and after i went for a drive it spark nocks bad, and when i put the timing light back on it the mark on blancer is be for all timing marks and if i turn it off and pull off the timing wire and relook at timing it comes back to 0 were it was set

If its a v8 the timing should be 8 degrees btdc and make sure your distibtor is tightend down
