My wife and daughter enjoy playing Super Mario together; they look like two friends enjoying themselves rather than mother-daughter. Does GBA Super Tetris Delux play OK on DS Lite?

I have a Game Boy Advanced Super Tetris Delux cartridge and a DS Lite. It seems to have only one mode and just a single scoring. Is there any way of accessing other features, or is there a fault on my cartridge? I don't have access to a GBA to test it on that.
