For example, if a bow is made from pernambuco wood with a turtle shell frog and a cabrite skin grip, will it sound different from a bow ade of maple wood with an ivory or ebony frog and a goat skin grip?
The one I recently bought is Brazillian Pernambuco wood and Mongolian horse hair with silver thread winding, a cabrite (which I believe is a lizard) skin grip, a tortoise shell frog with fully silver mounting, double peral dot inlay and a coloured abalone slide. It weighs approximately 62 grams.
