Daughtry
Sale Price: $5.62
Chris Daughtry starts his first post-American Idol disc with a song whose title reviewers coast to coast will be grateful for: "It's Not Over." What an understatement. For the Idol-watching rock fan's money, nobody--not even Southern-fried heartthrob Bo Bice in season four--stormed the stage with more raw talent. That it translates so well to a solo disc (Daughtry was recorded with studio musicians; future discs will include a Daughtry-assembled band) proves all he needed was a little prodding, the kind the tube has gotten so good at. Here are a dozen songs that'll flick your rock & roll switch, whether you're a Creed fan, a club kid, or a mambo king: "Used To" and "Over You," a couple of early tracks, ought to arrive bundled with a road map they're so highway sing-along-ready, and "Feels Like Tonight" screws the lid on the premise that Daughtry can deliver a punchy pop-rock song without flinching. Elsewhere, the North Carolina family man lets his inner (and outer, actually) goatee- and eyeliner-type guy rip: his built-for-the-hard-stuff voice bites down appealingly on "Breakdown," a dark serenade to mental health, and also on "What I Want," an '80s-style fist-pumper featuring Slash. The loud mad dash of those songs leads to a midtempo wind-down ("All These Lives," "What About Now"), but as a mix, it works. Daughtry is a man of many moods--contemplative, explosive, insistent, humble. No matter which pokes through on a given song, he steadies it to a place as honest as it is accessible. Rare is the rocker who lays out so broad an on-ramp. --Tammy La Gorce

This is a GREAT movie and will love
Disney's adaptation of the beloved fairy tale became a classic in its own right, thanks to some memorable tunes (including "A Dream Is a Wish Your Heart Makes," "Bibbidi-Bobbidi-Boo," and the title song) and some endearingly cute comic relief. We all know the story--the wicked stepmother and stepsisters simply won't have it, this uppity Cinderella thinking she's going to a ball designed to find the handsome prince an appropriate sweetheart, but perseverance, animal buddies, and a well-timed entrance by a fairy godmother make sure things turn out all right. There are a few striking sequences of pure animation--for example, Cinderella is reflected in bubbles drifting through the air--and the design is rich and evocative throughout. It's a simple story padded here agreeably with comic business, particularly Cinderella's rodent pals (dressed up conspicuously like the dwarf sidekicks of another famous Disney heroine) and their misadventures with a wretched cat named Lucifer. There's also much harrumphing and exposition spouting by the King and the Grand Duke. It's a much simpler and more graceful work than the more frenetically paced animated films of today, which makes it simultaneously quaint and highly gratifying. --David Kronke

Joseph Gerber started Portland, Oregon's Gerber Advertising back in 1910, and one Christmas, he hired a local knife-maker to craft 25 sets of kitchen cutlery as client gifts. The knives were so popular, Mr. Gerber ultimately left his agency to launch Gerber Legendary Blades in 1939.For more than half a century, Gerber Legendary Blades has been helping people fend for themselves. Gerber designs popular, dependable tools and knives along with other outdoor gear that helps users accomplish whatever tasks they may be faced with, promoting the lost art of self-reliance.What's in the BoxFine edge FAST Draw Folding Knife.

Bridesmaids
Sale Price: $10.99
The delightful Kristen Wiig, who's shone in dozens of supporting roles and on Saturday Night Live, hits a bull's-eye with her first lead role in Bridesmaids. Annie (Wiig) isn't doing so well; her bakery failed and she keeps sleeping with a good-looking louse (Jon Hamm, Mad Men), but she's always had her best friend Lillian (Maya Rudolph, Away We Go) to buoy her up⦠until Lillian gets engaged. Annie becomes maid of honor, but another friend of Lillian's--the rich and lovely Helen (Rose Byrne, Get Him to the Greek)--wants to take over that position. Misadventures with bad Brazilian food, dress fittings, an unfortunate flight to Vegas, and a sympathetic traffic cop (Chris O'Dowd from British TV comedy The IT Crowd) follow, with increasingly hilarious results. Bridesmaids successfully balances raunchy comedy and character portrait. The embarrassing and socially catastrophic stuff, which in too many movies balloons into absurdity, is here kept in check just enough to allow Annie and the other characters to be multidimensional people--without the movie losing its comic capacity for cringe. (Actress Melissa McCarthy, of Mike & Molly, works miracles with a character than in most hands would be pure cartoon.) Wiig's enormous appeal keeps Annie sympathetic, even as she becomes more and more of a train wreck. Bridesmaids is both smart and dumb, raunchy and earnest, and altogether enjoyable. --Bret Fetzer
"Gut-bustingly funny. Bridesmaids gets an A!!!" (Owen Gleiberman, Entertainment Weekly) From the producer of Superbad, Knocked Up and The 40-Year-Old Virgin comes the breakout comedy critics are calling "brazenly hysterical!" (Alynda Wheat, People) Thirty-something Annie (Kristen Wiig) has hit a rough patch but finds her life turned completely upside down when she takes on the Maid of Honor role in her best friend Lillian's (Maya Rudolph) wedding. In way over her head but determined to succeed, Annie leads a hilarious hodgepodge of bridesmaids (Rose Byrne, Melissa McCarthy, Wendi McLendon-Covey and Ellie Kemper) on a wild ride down the road to the big event. Starring: Kristen Wiig, Maya Rudolph, Rose Byrne, Chris O'Dowd, Ellie Kemper, Wendi McLendon-Covey, Melissa McCarthy, Matt Lucas, Jill Clayburgh, Rebel Wilson, Michael Hitchcock, Terry Crews, Kali Hawk, Tim Heidecker, Jon Hamm Directed by: Paul Feig

Jesse Stone: No Remorse
Sale Price: $4.95
No Remorse, the sixth entry in the made-for-TV series of Jesse Stone mysteries featuring Robert B. Parker's small-town police chief, is another satisfying blend of detective thrills and character drama, anchored by coproducer-cowriter Tom Selleck's typically fine turn as Stone. Picking up shortly after the events of the previous Stone film, Thin Ice, the action finds Stone struggling with suspension from the force and his alcohol issues; intervention from old friend Commander Healy (Stephen McHattie) gets him back on his feet and on the trail of a serial killer preying on young men. Stone and his deputies (Kathy Baker and Kohl Sudduth) uncover a trail that leads them to Boston mob boss Gino Fish (William Sadler), whose secret past may uncover the guilty party. Meanwhile, Stone has to deal with a rash of convenience store robberies that have turned deadly, as well as his ex-wife and relationship issues with his new dog, Reggie. Though the tone is a bit darker than previous Stone features, and the resolution of the convenience store subplot somewhat rushed, the performances, led by Selleck and abetted by an all-pro supporting cast (which includes William Devane as Stone's shrink and Saul Rubinek as the hapless Hasty Hathaway), are engaging, and the direction by Robert Harmon top-notch. Sadly, No Remorse was the last Jesse Stone film to see production during Parker's lifetime, but under Selleck's stewardship, fans can rest assured that Jesse Stone will continue in good hands. The widescreen DVD offers no extras. --Paul Gaita
Suspended from his job, troubled police chief Jesse Stone (Tom Selleck) leaves his home in Paradise, Massachusetts, to help out a friend by investigating a string of murders in Boston. As he attempts to deal with his own demons and the repercussions of his actions, Stone must also stop the mobster responsible for the Beantown slayings. Kathy Baker, William Devane, Stephen McHattie co-star. 87 min. Widescreen (Enhanced); Soundtrack: English Dolby Digital 5.1; Subtitles: English.

The Muppets
Sale Price: $10.50

Movies attempting to retrieve cherished nuggets of pop culture often stumble, either by appealing solely to the die-hard minutia enthusiasts or clunking up the batter with unnecessary additions to the base material. (Enough with the human love triangles, get to the giant robots fighting.) Thankfully, this revival of Jim Henson's beloved characters gets the formula delightfully right, providing a googly-eyed nostalgia trip for adults while also retaining the original's sense of bright (and mildly subversive) wonder. All that's missing is a cameo from Shields and Yarnell, really. Kicking off with a boffo musical number, the story follows Walter (voice of Peter Linz), a small-town boy with a uniquely personal affection for the long-retired Muppets. (OK, he's made of felt.) Teaming up with his brother (Jason Segel, who also co-scripted) and the local schoolteacher (Amy Adams), they attempt to get Kermit, Fozzie, and the gang back together in order to save their studio from an evil oil baron (Chris Cooper, going all in). Director James Bobin (Flight of the Conchords) does a marvelous job of updating and honoring his material, weaving sly references to days gone by (the contents of Kermit's rolodex are a particular delight) into the mix of songs, celebrity cameos, and barn-broad puns that gave the original show its bubbly kick. (Fans of Animal and the Chickens will not go home disappointed.) Even the moments that don't quite work land with a cornball brio that feels wholly of a piece with Henson's universe. The result is a true family movie that still brings on the blissful, uncomplicated grins days after viewing. No matter what Statler and/or Waldorf might say, the show goes on. --Andrew Wright Related Products Amazon's Disney Store Amazon's Muppets Store More Muppets in Movies & TV Versions of The Muppets on Blu-ray and DVD The Muppets The Muppets (Single-Disc DVD + Soundtrack Download Card) The Muppets (Two-Disc Blu-ray/DVD Combo) The Muppets (Three-Disc Combo: Blu-ray/DVD/Digital Copy + Soundtrack Download Card) Release Date March 20, 2012 March 20, 2012 March 20, 2012 March 20, 2012 Format/Disc # DVD DVD + Soundtrack Download Card Blu-ray, DVD Blu-ray, DVD, Digital Copy + Soundtrack Download Card Blu-ray No No Yes Yes DVD Yes Yes Yes Yes Digital Copy No No No Yes Bonus Features None DVD Feature Film+ BonusDigital Full-Length Original SoundtrackThe Longest Blooper Reel Ever Made (In Muppet History**) Blu-ray Feature Film + BonusDVD Feature Film+ BonusScratching the Surface: A Hasty Examination of The Making of The MuppetsA Little Screen Test on the Way to the Read ThroughExplaining Evil: The Full Tex Richman Song Deleted ScenesAudio CommentaryDisney IntermissionThe Longest Blooper Reel Ever Made (In Muppet History**) Same as The Muppets (Two-Disc Blu-ray/DVD Combo) plus:Digital CopyDigital Full-Length Original Soundtrack

Press Release Service Quotes From Vendors To Save You Time And Money
A Press Release is an effective tool to get the message loud and clear to your clients and potential customers and at the same time buzz them with important updates and progress of your company. Did you know that a good press release can attract thousands of visitors to your website, while simultaneously creating a much higher search engine rank by creating inbound links to your site?
A press release is one of the primary ways you can communicate news about your company to the media. To be noticed, read and talked about, you need to stand out from the crowd. The challenge is to create a press release that makes the journalist want to know more and discover that your story is one they must tell.

There are key facts to keep in mind while doing a press release- a press release should be "news" and not an "ad" for your company. Coming up with the idea of press releases is the most challenging part. Has your company or an individual recently earned an accolade? Does your company predict a future business trend that could help promote the business or one of your products? How about a company restructuring during tough economic times that will result in your business being meaner and leaner? Press releases not only give exposure to your business but if worded correctly, could position your company as a subject matter expert.

What made you release that you liked, rather than hated, someone?
Like an event, or something they did that made you release that made you realised they were alright
I really find this question interesting.
I hate to admit it, but there's this guy in two of my classes that I originally hated. He always cracked jokes and had a sort of conceited attitude. I just wrongly judged him as an idiot who was just going to school because he had to and might as well make his life there interesting because I've known many people like him. Well one day in class, our teacher was telling everyone in class their grades, and when it got to that guy's grade, I realized the impression I had of him was completely wrong. He had an A. I couldn't believe it at first, but after that, I saw him in a new light. I ended up getting to really like and actually admire that guy for who he was. I came to enjoy his company because it was sure to bring laughs, and after I got rid of my negative first impression of him, I realized that he wasn't conceited like I first thought, he just liked to joke around a lot. To this day, I try not to judge others until I truly get to know them thanks to that event.
