Experts Advise Left-Handed Beginners To Learn To Play Golf Right-Handed

There’s a lot of talk is over whether right handed is better than left handed when it comes to golf.Similar to playing a guitar, many left handed people are encouraged to play right handed especially if they are absolute beginners. After a while you may begin to develop a feel for playing right handed. It isn’t uncommon for some left hander’s to try out a friend’s right handed driver and suddenly discover that they can hit the ball significantly father down the range.

This is because, again like playing a guitar, playing right handed can actually be playing to your left handed strengths, in guitar playing your left hand will be doing all the complicated fret work and in golf your left hand will be your leading hand which means your swings are going to have more strength and power behind them.

There are plenty of people that worry that by switching to the right handed way of playing will mean starting from scratch or the swing just not feeling natural. On the contrary, it is believed that it can take as little as a month to make the switch to being comfortable with the right handed way of doing things. Psychologically it doesn’t affect us as much, many baseball players are able to hit both right handed and ‘switch hitter’ left handed equally as well as each other.

This advice has come from a few golf pros and tutors but essentially it all boils down to playing to your strengths and what feels most natural to you. There are many successful left handed golfers such as Phil Mickleson and Mike Weir proving that right handed is not the only way to play golf.

Whether you choose left or right handed clubs make sure you protect them with a dedicated golf insurance policy or a golf travel insurance policy that will protect you and your clubs when playing abroad.

How come the slide release on a right handed pump action shotgun is on the left of the trigger guard?

I'm reffering to my Wingmaster 12ga. Wouldnt it be easier and faster to have it on the right side, then you could work the action faster when shooting. Or maybe i have a left handed gun, although, the ejection port is on the right, if it was a left handed gun wouldnt it be on the left? Thanks

because it is easier to hit with your right hand thumb-when you got a grip on it your thumb will be on the left side of the shot gun(real easy with a pistol grip)
