how do i set the pound strength on my compound bow?

my father in law and i recently bow a new parker compound mag bow and we both can not pull it back. it says its set at 70 pounds but we think the person who set it up didn't do it right, so how can we set it so we can pull it back more easily? we want to drop it to 60 pounds cause pulling a bow back should not be this tough

GoJets is correct.... If the Hex Head adjustments don't match exactly turn for turn, there is a chance your compound Bow will fall apart/break when you try to shoot it. Have a professional do it at a local Archery shop or a place like Bass Pro Shops or Cabela's, Academy Sports, etc. They will not only be able to adjust it, but they can actually check the draw weight after adjustment is done, something that you can't do at home....

*Most Compound Bows can only be adjusted + or minus 10 lbs MAX....
