Carbon arrows and shooting them?

I just bought my first dozen carbon arrows ever and when I shot them into my rhinehart target the broadhead stays into the target when i pull out the arrow. never happened with aluminum

Some carbon arrows are like this, I know the gold tip arrows have a fien layer of carbon dust on the inside of the shaft, my Carbon Express Nano XR also had that same issue. So before installing points, make sure you clean the inside of the shaft with alcohol. A friend of mine who shoots Gold Tips even go a step further and scoure the inside of the shaft with a .30 cal bore brush.

Btw, all arrows bend, that's the only reason we can hit anything. The phenomena you're experiencing has nothing to do with the forces on impact, to shoot equally well you need aluminum that are just as stiff as a carbon shaft. It has everything to do with surface adhesion. Aluminum surface just react better to glue, it's not as slick as carbon.
