The AP2's high-tech, multi-material construction features a steel body, tungsten nickel sole, elastomer bar and aluminum cavity plate. AP2 is built to deliver both performance and feel. The dual cavity design of the Titleist AP2 irons pushes weight to the perimeter for forgiveness. A central cross member featuring a soft elastomer cushion provides structural rigidity behind the impact area while also dampening face vibration for better overall feel. The lower cavity of the Titleist AP2 irons is enclosed by a tungsten nickel box. This high-density material locates the weight low and deep while providing structural rigidity and low frequency vibration dampening for outstanding solid feel. The tungsten nickel box helps reduce the sole and back flange width for better turf performance and shot control.
IMPROVED FEEL, MORE CONTROL
Building upon the high technology design and resounding success of the original AP irons, Titleist introduces the new high performance AP2 irons for avid golfers. The Titleist AP2 are multi-material, dual cavity irons that take the design mission of "Advanced Performance You Can Feel" to new heights.
The concept for the original Advanced Performance irons arose as a result of research that indicated serious golfers want performance with great feel, not performance at the expense of feel. The Titleist R&D team’s advanced research group has been conducting extensive sound and vibration analysis aimed at reducing the harsh lower frequency vibration that causes poor feel in irons. This research led to combining several technologies and materials in the back cavity of the new AP irons resulting in a new Tuned Feel System to take feel to a new level.
Titleist AP2 irons provide a comfortable and confidence-inspiring appearance in the set up position with a traditional blade profile and hosel junction. The metallic back cavity plate contributes to the AP2's great looks and bag appeal.

[K] Six One Tour ..(Survey)?
Well,I finally bought my dream racket Federer's [K] Six One Tour!!Well since i only bought it yesterday....I have questions...
to those who own or have played with it...
1.What kind of string do you use? Mine is Luxilon ALU for mains and Wilson NXT 16 for crosses
2.What tension do you string your racket?
3.Do you use an over grip?If not why the leather grip?
3b.If you use an overgrip what overgrip do you use and why?
4Do you use a vibration dampener? If not why?
5.What are your racquet's specs...Is it the original or the Asian Version..
Example: mine's the Asian version coz i live in Asia
Weight:320/11.3 oz unstrung
Balance: 9 points headlight
6:Final question...Are you satisfied with your racquet?Did it meet your expectations?
I have a K6.1 95 not Asian edition. I use Babolat Pro Hurricane Tour for my mains and Sensation 16 for my crosses. I string it at 57 which is 2 pounds above the middle tension. I use an overgrip because it feels nice on my hands. I use Wilson Pro Overgrip because it is the most comfy. I use a vibration dampener because it, well, lessens the vibration. My racket is 11.7 ounces unstrung and 12.3 strung. 12 points headlight unstrung, and 7 points headlight strung. Yes, I love my racket, it has improved my game.
