There is a set of cardinals you must follow while using a BB gun- always use a lock on the trigger (including the pump version). Put the BB gun back in the gun case after the usage. Keep it out of reach of your little ones who would be more than happy to lay their hands on this. Never leave the BB gun loaded.

Unloading the BB's out of the BB guns might seem a tad too troublesome each time, but it is worth the effort than to risk your life or life of those around you by accidentally triggering it. One last bit of suggestion: whenever using the BB gun, it should always be pointed towards the ground unless you are ready to shoot the target. The reckless

pointing of the gun without aiming has led to many an accidents. Hence, be careful to use the BB guns lest you hurt someone.
